Once again, my nestbox seems to have been very popular with the visiting passerines !
The successful occupants this season, are a lovely pair of Great Tits, let's christen them Gus & Glo !!
Glo has fashioned and completed a very tidy nest, ably assisted by Gus.
Over the past few days, Glo has been very busy, and has now laid and completed her clutch of 8 eggs.
Incubation is now continuing apace, and thus far, Gus is proving a very supportive and resourceful partner, regularly bring in an endless supply of insect snacks for Glo, long may it continue when his new brood arrives, fingers crossed ...
Egg number 8 was laid on 21st April, and Glo immediately started to incubate, so we can look forward to the first hatchlings around about the 4th/5th May ...
